Welcome to River Trail Campground II.

We have 260 sites on a scenic 56 acres with a 1 ½ mile nature trail nestled among 30 acres of woods along the St. Marys River.  We offer family friendly campsites with full hookups where you can relax with fellow campers and enjoy quiet nights by your campfire.  Pets are welcome but we ask that you please be considerate of your fellow campers by keeping your pets on a leash at all times and cleaning up after them.

We are open from April 1st to October 20th, 2024.

SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING THE 2024 SOLAR ECLIPSE

A total solar eclipse will be visible in parts of Ohio on the afternoon of April 8, 2024. The eclipse’s period of totality will enter from the southwest into Ohio north of Greenville, in Darke County, around 3:00 pm. Ten minutes later, the period of totality will exit the state out into Lake Erie in Avon Lake, northeastern Ohio, in Lorain County. Mendon is very close to the area of totality center line – the sun will be obscured for nearly five minutes.  The last total solar eclipse visible in Ohio was in 1806. The next total solar eclipse in Ohio will be in the year 2099.

Campground is requiring a 2 night minimum stay. Reservations will be taken by phone only – no emails.  Water will be on and kitchen will be open for takeout.
